SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a skilled wireless test engineer for our VoWLAN and DECT product. HeShe is working in close relations with our OEM partners to perform the acceptance tests, technical coordination with partners to track and solve the technical issues, and finally ensure the delivered product meets our requirementspecification.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Ensure the technical definition and coordination with the testdevelopment team and architect - Define and write the validation tests specifications based on the external development specifications (full tests and non regression tests) - Define the required tests environment and tools, perform the validation tests - Identify and write the errors found. Follow-up and validation of the error reports. - Technical coordination with partners outside china and other teams insideoutside china. - Improve the existing tests strategy and the associated tests specifications continuously - Reports to the validation team manager
QUALIFICATIONS: - Mandatory ·Good experience in telecommunication products test, including test strategy definition, test case design, execution, report and follow-up ·Strong knowledge and working experiences with wireless LAN (802.11 abgn, 802.11 ieh, 802.1x, WMM, WEPWPAWPAII) andor DECT technology ·Solid knowledge of wireless infrastructure: access point, routers, mobile IP and IP networking (TCPIP, DHCP, DNS, RTP, sRTP, VLAN...) ·Familiar with UNIX andor Linux test environment and QualityCenter, ClearQuest ·Skilled in using various test tools, such as smartbit, ethereal and so on ·Good communication skills, English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking ·Work independently with high accountability. Show good team spirit.
- Nice to have ·Experience with one or more additional technical subjects is a plus: SIP protocol, IP security ·Working experience with vendor is a plus
EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor degree or above in telecommunications or computer science, electronic engineering - 5 years working experience in WLANDECT andor telecom product test
