General Purpose

Works as an experienced Baseband Designer in Engine program for Engine HW Baseband team in Nokia Windows Phone Engineering organization.

Main Responsibility Area

Responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing and testing in hisher area. Solves complex engineering problems of own technology area. Coaches other team members in solving engineering problems. Typically participates in reviews of own or neighbouring projects. Has specialist knowledge on a technical competence area and a cross functional competence area. Typically participates in reviews of own or neighboring projects and co-operates with product programs and suppliers. May undertake technical training responsibilities. All Hardware deliverables planned and implemented according to project plans and completed in line with overall project schedules.

Needed competencies:

- Digital and analog design experience, 10+ years

- Experienced with design tools (schematiclayout tools, simulations).

- Strong knowledge with production environment.

- Strong knowledge with test system and equipment needed in Baseband area.

- Fluent written and spoken English

Degree

Bachelor of science (BSc) Master of science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering.
