We are seeking several (senior) Engineers, Baseband in Nokia Mobile Phones FPD Beijing. You will be responsible for the technical investigation and development in relation to our Feature Phone Products.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:

· Output responsible for BB delivery from chipset to programs, like BB concept design, schematic design, PWB design guild line and review, production support

· BB planning, align with the program to secure the mass production

· Providing various Baseband part solution options during concept study.

· Drive the BB related troubleshooting

· Owner of one technical expertise area inside the team, within this area, you will coach other team members in solving engineering problems, drive the technical Lessons learnt share and maintain the design guideline

· Specifies test plan, test cases and analyze test results to ensure functionality and reliability of the product

Qualifications

The ideal candidate have a (strong) experience in HW development with a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering, telecommunication or other relevant field in Baseband areas (Master Degree is preferred), Typically 5+ years relevant experience with focus on GSMTD-SCDMA cellular BB design. Applies wide technical knowledge and soft skill, solving complex problems within own technology area, acting as the key contributor of the Engine, product and sub team.

· Capable knowledge with System ASICs, Memories, Battery, SIM, ASIP, connectivity ( WLAN, FM, GPS, BT, USB, uSD....), sensor

· Hands on experience on various BB measurement equipment

· Proactive and honest in nature, ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders

· Good coaching skill to help other team members in solving engineering (technical) problems.

· Fluent speaking in presentation skills and written communication skills in English.

· Innovative thinking to seeds the opportunities and drive the innovation from BB side for NOKIA products.

· Experience with CMCC Technical Requirement, CMMB, and RFID SIM knowledge is a plus

· Strong fundamentals of high speed circuit design and the signal integrity theory is a plus

· Capable knowledge with simulation ( signal integrity, sensor....) is a plus

· Knowledge on low level SW is a plus
