We are seeking a (senoir) software engineer in Nokia Mobile Phones Feature Phone Product Development Beijing.

You will be responsible for the error management and problem solving in relation to our engine software.

You will work with some of the hottest mobile technologies on the market and join a highly motivated team to build engine SW for the S40 products.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:

- Align error management process with vendor

- Providing some Error Metrics

- Responsible for Error Assessment (priority & target setting for error correction)

- Delivering status and milestone input

You will be member of error management team in an international and energetic environment.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position you have or are about to gain MSc, BSc, or equivalent and are interested in technical issues.

We furthermore hope you to have:

- SW Testing experience or QA experience

- or Error management experience

- ability to keep a good overview of the error situation

- understanding of project planning and tracking

- English skills, both written and orally

The job requires your ability to initiate actions and take responsibility for the error handling & error management for your assigned responsibilities.

Your communication skills will be an advantage for you when working in an international and virtual environment.

Your analytical skills and your ability to plan and structure your work enable you to deliver results of high standards and meeting deadlines in a very dynamic and changing environment. Although you are self driven you are also a good team player.
