General Purpose of the Role

Works as an recognized expert in HW Integration area in product or technology program in HW design and integration.

Main Responsibility Areas Key Tasks

HeShe works closely with other function members in the team as well as colleagues from internal SW teams and Chipset teams. Responsibilities include:

- Filtering and identifying complex engineering issues in the program, carries out rootcause analysis in complex and cross functional problems. Coordinate inside the team and make sure that these issues will be solved in the most efficient way.

- Follow-up and drive the HW-SW interfacing issues, report the latest status to HW PDM.

- Support chipset vendors and SW teams in debugging issues. Works as the main contact interface towards the internal and external stakeholders.

- Support the Care and Production Line teams from R&D perspective. Provide necessary files and documents when needed.

- Participate in PD milestone documentations and reviews in the program. Support certification, type approval, mass production and field testing.

- Coaches other team members in solving engineering problems. Undertakes technical training responsibilities. Contributes towards competence development, knowledge sharing and coaching and mentoring within hisher technology area.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and telecommunication; Master Degree is preferred

Wide knowledge and experience in HW and EM design for mobile phone development;

Is a lead contributor individually and as a team member. Provides direction for others.

Knowledge of Mobile Phone product development process;

Min 8 years or equivalent experience in HW design area in mobile phone industry, preferably focusing on BBRFmodem area; having CMMB or SW tracing knowledge is a plus.

Excellent hands-on experience with HWEM test equipments.

Strong cross-functional and communication skills. Excellent in presentation skills, fluent in oral and written English.
