Main responsibilities:
Reporting line:Report to the head of Wireless Communications and Networks labMain activities:Conduct research and development in the area of wireless communications and networks. Specific topics may include radio access technology, MIMO-OFDM, radio resource management, and mobile network architecture.Novel and innovative research results are expected, publications in major conferences and journals are encouraged.Prototypetestbed may be needed for proof of the concept.Assist in preparing research proposals. Contribute to the development of international and domestic standards when relevant to business. Some flexibility in assignments may be required.
Position requirements:
Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. New graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of work experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Strong background in wireless communications and networking is required. Specifically, expertise in one or more of the following areas: LTE, WiFi, WiMax and Zigbee is preferred, and creativity is a must.Excellent programming skills in CC++, Matlab and OPNET are required.Good presentation and communications skills are expected.Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of French is a plus.
