Main responsibilities: Reporting line:Report to the head of Wireless Communications and Networks labMain activities:Orange Labs Beijing is looking for a motivated and talent person to participate in the research of next-generation internet and M2M projects. The main responsibilities include:Conduct research and development in the area of next generation internet, IPv6, and M2M projects. Specific topics may include: new naming and addressing schemes, new transport protocols in content-centric networks, telecom network migration to IPv6, efficient routing protocols in wireless sensor networks.Design and implement new IPv6 service and application scenarios.Develop and design routing protocols in heterogeneous networksPrototypetestbed may be needed for proof of the concept.Assist in proposing new directions and projects related to next-generation internet, M2M.Contribute to the development of international and domestic standards when relevant to business. Some flexibility in assignments may be required.
Position requirements:
Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. New graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of work experience are particularly encouraged to apply.Excellent programming skills in CC++, Java are required.Knowledge of TCPIP protocols: Addressing, Routing, NATNAT Traversal, SIP, etc. Knowledge of IP networks, IPv4, IPv6 and mobile IP.Good presentation and communications skills are expected.Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of French is a plus.
