Main responsibilities:

Reporting line:

· Report to the head of Wireless Communications and Networks lab

Main activities:

· Architect and develop PHY layer processing, MAC and LAC protocol stacks for CDMA2000 Femtocell access point in software

· Responsible for system specification, software architecture and sub-module design;

· Lead a small team in code implementation, testing and product optimization

· Some flexibility in assignments may be required.

Position requirements:

· BS, MS or PhD in EE or CS is required; candidates with CDMA product development experience are especially welcome.

· Proficient in CC+ and programming Linux Kernel; extensive experience in software architecture and development;

· Profound understanding in PHY layer development andor in MAC protocol stack for CDMA systems and interface between MAC and PHY;

· Familiar with 3GPP3GPP2 standards: CDMA2000Ev-DO, WCDMA or TD-SCDMA

· Familiarity with SIP protocol is preferred

· Able to read , speak and write in English; comfortable to collaborate with colleagues in a small and dynamic engineering team
