o Report to the head of Wireless Communications and Networks Lab
? Main activities
? Orange Labs Beijing is looking for a self-motivated and talented person to participate in the research of next generation IP platforms utilizing cutting-edge technologies like SDN, NFV and cloud computing. The main responsibilities include:
o Conduct research and development in the area of future networking technologies. Specific topics may include software defined network, network function virtualization, cloud infrastructure to host virtualized network services, and automatic network management and orchestration.
o Novel and innovative research results are expected, publications in major conferences and journals are encouraged.
o Prototypetestbed may be needed for proof of the concept.
o Contribute to the development of international and domestic standards when relevant to business.
o Some flexibility in assignments may be required.
Position requirements:
? MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related fields is desired. New graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of work experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
? Background in networking with focus on routing protocols and other emerging IP technologies (including NFV & SDN) is a must.
? Knowledge of OS (Linux), Hypervisors (KVM, Xen etc) and virtualization technology is strongly desired.
? Experience with open source projects (OpenStack, OpenDayLight, OpenFlow) is a plus.
? Excellent programming skills in CC++ and Java are required.
? Applicants must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and balance workload among different projects.
? Good presentation and communications skills are expected.
? Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of French is a plus.
