职位描述:
Orange Labs Beijing is looking for a motivated and talent person to participate in the research of next-generation internet and Internet of Things (IoT) projects.
Reporting line:
Report to the head of Wireless Communications and Networks Lab
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development in the area of next generation internet, IP networking technology, and IoT projects. Specific topics may include: new transport protocols in content-centric networks, IPv6, efficient routing protocols in wireless sensor networks etc.
- Design and implement platforms and solutions for the particular use cases of IoT such as smart city, smart metering, e-health etc.
- Novel and innovative research results are expected, publications in major conferences and journals are encouraged.
- Prototypetestbed may be needed for proof of the concept.
- Contribute to the development of international and domestic standards when relevant to business.
- Some flexibility in assignments may be required.
Position requirements:
- M.S. degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- New graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of work experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent programming skills in CC++ and Java are required.
- Simulation Tools: Matlab, OMNeT++, OPNET etc.
- Knowledge of IP networks, computer networks, Wi-Fi, wireless sensor networks.
- Good presentation and communications skills are expected.
- Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of French is a plus.
