We are seeking several (Senior) HW Audio Engineers in Nokia Mobile Phones Featurephone Product Development Beijing. You will be responsible for the technical investigation and development in relation to our S40 Products. You will work with some of the hottest mobile technologies on the market and join a highly motivated team to build mobile phone products.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:

· Co-operating with the supplier to define and develop audio components, i.e. speakers, microphones and vibrators

· Responsibility for audio design towards the mobile phone design team to find suitable audio design with available components from acoustic performance, easy-assembly and reliability point of view

· Analyzing the field return samples and providing feedback to product design team or the supplier to enable design improvements accordingly

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a Bachelors degree in Electro-Acoustic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication or other relevant field. Furthermore we expect:

· 3+ years experience in audio component development

· Experience in electro-acoustic technology and familiarity with at least one simulation tool

· Knowledge about detailed structure, working principles and development trends of audio components

· Extensive knowledge about audio testing and understanding of common audio test systems, e.g. Audio Precision, B&K and Listen

· Familiarity with production and on-line test process of audio components

· Fluency in both written and spoken English

· Team spirit and ability to collaborate in a team
