NOKIA IS NOW HIRING (senior) Java API Developer
Back in April 2011, Stephen Elop Nokias CEO announced that China has become its Global Innovation hub for Mobile Phone and New Windows Phone. Following the announcement, Nokia quickly launched a large-scale business transformation program to ramp up Beijing R&D capabilities, specifically the Beijing innovation R&D hub and is now recruiting up to 600 new employees by mid-2012.

What Are We Looking For?
(Senior) Java API Developer
We are looking for outstanding employees to join us as full-time (Senior) Java API Developer. Successful candidates will have developed high-performance, stable software that has been successfully deployed in a global product. You will have a system-wide, architectural view of the solutions that you build. You will also have strong technical ability, a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
You will work as part of an exceptional team at our development centre in Beijing, China, launching and growing new products for Nokias Mobile Phones business. You will play a key contributor role in your team - as they will look to you for advice on the mobile technology. You will be a pivotal team player and able to deploy your initiatives, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success. You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies. Your software will need to meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability, and will operate a global scale.

Your Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have more than 3 years experience in Mobile Phone Software development. Bachelor or MS degree with major in Computer ScienceElectronic Engineering or related discipline is a must.
Responsibilities:
· MIDPCLDC and other JSRs design, development, maintenance.
· Bug fixing and new feature development.
· Designing and reviewing code.
· Developing unit test case and make sure the SW quality of this area.
· Working in a product creation project andor technology project with implementation or integration responsibilities
· Bringing productivity, quality and competitive advantage to SW development by solving complex problems in componentproduct level
Qualifications
Essential skills:
· Able to demonstrate excellent competence in developing JSRs.
· Having rich domain knowledge of relevant JSRs.
· Able to demonstrate excellent competence in C C++ Java.
· Able to demonstrate competence with embedded system and RTOS.
· Able to demonstrate competence with Software Engineering fundamentals, concepts etc.
· Able to demonstrate competence in Software Design Methodology
· Able to demonstrate competence in AgileTDD is nice-to-have
