We are currently looking for a SW Quality Manager in the new FPD Quality organization to join our global SW Quality management team inside FPD.

As SW Quality Manager (SQM), you will in this position influence to quality issues by directly working with SW development teams and also by being part of relevant management team(s).

Major responsibilities:

* SW Quality Managers are responsible for supporting and coaching the SW development teams in which they are embedded in setting and achieving their quality targets, by promoting quality culture and disciplined process.

* Make quality status and risks of the SW development activities visible, including defining and following up on specific quality targets in the SW development life-cycle.

* Contribute to FPD wide quality improvement activities.

Environment
Key interfaces: SW development line management, SW development teams, product owners, scrum masters, process managers, SW PQMs, FPD Quality community

Influencing SW development teams to do continuous improvement. Works independently with little supervision.

Qualifications

Individual Portfolio
* Typically 8-12 years relevant experience (ideally from both SW development and SWproduct program areas). Understanding of motivational and practical factors affecting SW quality. Ability to achieve goals via influence through networks of trust and respect. Evident and articulate passion for the importance of SW quality in support of Consumer Experience, Time to Market and Productivity Recognised expert in their field (engineering background and having leadership skill). Positive attitude for work and a quality mindset. M.Sc. or similar preferred. Good communication skills (fluent in English)
* The successful candidaste must have a "heart for quality" and preferably long experience in S40 SW development and already be respected in the FPD community for hisher past achievements.

* Also knowledge of Agile way of working and ability to work as an Agile coach is a strong preference.

* Finally it is crucial that the mindset supports the hands-in hands-on principle. In FPD Quality we work inside the development teams various management teams and according to requirements and priorities set by the business owners. We are never afraid of getting "muddy hands".
